Estimates, not predictions

The calculator projects costs from your inputs and a few simple assumptions, such as a steady yearly loss in vehicle value. Real interest charges, vehicle values, fuel prices, insurance rates, and repair costs will differ, sometimes by a lot.

Seeds and growth

“Potential Seed” figures show what setting aside a monthly difference could add up to. The 4% and 7% growth options are hypothetical illustrations, not predictions or recommendations. No savings or investment result is guaranteed, and investments can lose value. A Seed only exists if you actually make the change and set the money aside.
